Recover a hacked Instagram account by changing the password, signing out unknown sessions, removing connected apps, restoring profile changes, using instagram.com/hacked or Get help logging in when locked out, verifying identity by email code or video selfie, warning followers about scam posts, checking linked Facebook access, and enabling login alerts and two-factor authentication.

Fix Instagram verification-code failures by requesting a fresh code, using the newest SMS, checking phone signal, removing extra spaces, setting automatic time for authenticator apps, using saved backup codes, generating new codes after login, recovering when the phone number or authenticator app is unavailable, confirming account email in Accounts Center, and avoiding code-sharing scams.

Fix ID.me verification problems for IRS.gov, including rejected document photos and selfies, good lighting all four ID corners plain background no glare removing face coverings, browser camera and microphone permissions, trying another device, moving to live video verification after repeated self-service failures, preparing government ID and identity questions, resolving SSA name mismatches such as EC 6001, returning to IRS.gov after verification, and knowing ID.me cannot fix IRS tax account issues.

Set up Robinhood two-factor authentication, including Security and privacy Two-factor authentication, choosing authenticator app or text message, scanning QR code or verifying phone number, saving backup codes away from the phone, using backup codes after losing the 2FA method, completing Robinhood identity verification when no codes are available, switching from SMS to authenticator app, understanding SIM-swap risk, storing backup codes safely, enabling login alerts, and reviewing active sessions.

Fix full iCloud storage warnings, including upgrading to iCloud+ from Settings iCloud Manage Account Storage, choosing 50 GB 200 GB or 2 TB plans, using Family Sharing storage, freeing space by checking storage usage, emptying Recently Deleted photos, excluding large app data from backups, deleting old device backups, managing Messages in iCloud, understanding Optimize iPhone Storage does not reduce iCloud use, sharing larger plans with family, and downgrading only after usage is below the new limit.

Set up Microsoft Family Safety, including creating a family group at account.microsoft.com/family or the Family Safety app, adding adults and children, creating a child Microsoft account, accepting invitations, setting screen time by Windows Xbox and Android, content filters and SafeSearch in Edge, spending controls and purchase approvals, activity reporting, Android app requirements, iPhone limits, location sharing, revisiting teen settings, and granting one-time extra screen time.

Set up Dropbox two-factor authentication from dropbox.com, including Settings Security Two-step verification, choosing SMS or authenticator app, scanning QR code, entering six-digit code, saving one-time backup codes outside Dropbox, using backup codes at sign-in, recovering lost 2FA through Dropbox support with billing or account details, and switching methods from SMS to authenticator app without disabling 2FA.

Change a Gmail or Google Account password while signed in, including myaccount.google.com Security Password, Gmail app Manage your Google Account, confirming current password, setting a stronger password, expecting sign-out on other devices, using suggested strong passwords, running Security Checkup, turning on 2-Step Verification, and using forgot password or account recovery when unable to sign in.

Reset a Samsung Account password through account.samsung.com or a signed-in Galaxy device, including Find password, verification by registered email or phone, setting a new password, signing into Samsung Cloud Find My Mobile Galaxy Store and SmartThings, changing password from Security and privacy on a signed-in device, handling outdated recovery contacts, checking spam, two-step verification codes or backup codes, and updating recovery details afterward.

Check devices and sessions signed into Google Apple ID and Microsoft accounts, including Google Your devices Manage all devices, Apple ID device list on iPhone iPad and Mac, Microsoft Devices and Sign-in activity, removing unfamiliar devices, using Sign out everywhere, distinguishing old devices from suspicious activity, changing passwords after removal, enabling two-factor authentication, and reviewing devices every few months.
