Run accurate internet speed tests over Ethernet and Wi-Fi, compare download/upload/ping, test at different times, understand 85-95% normal results, and prepare ISP evidence.

Connect mesh nodes with Ethernet wired backhaul, confirm LAN ports, plan cable, verify wired status in the app, troubleshoot fallbacks, use switches, and wire nearby devices.

Measure Wi-Fi signal strength with phone or analyzer apps, understand dBm ranges, map rooms, spot obstacles and channel congestion, and decide when to add coverage.

Set up mesh Wi-Fi with a main node and satellites, place nodes properly, disable old router Wi-Fi, use wired backhaul, understand band steering, and size coverage.

Set up router parental controls with profiles, content filters, schedules, or DNS filtering, and understand Wi-Fi-only limits, guest devices, and device-level controls.

Enable Wi-Fi Calling on iPhone or Android, confirm emergency address, carrier support, weak Wi-Fi issues, travel limitations, and how calls differ from regular data.

Set up a wired wireless access point or old router in AP mode, verify same-network IP range, improve roaming, and compare access points with extenders and mesh.

Set up ASUS AiMesh with a main router and nodes, bind routers, fix node discovery, update firmware, use wired backhaul, and manage roaming from the main router.

Set up Dynamic DNS on a router using No-IP, DuckDNS, Dynu, or router DDNS, test from outside the home, and understand port forwarding, update clients, CGNAT, and cloud alternatives.

Set up an iPhone VPN with an App Store VPN app or a manual IKEv2/IPSec/L2TP profile, manage toggles, auto-connect behavior, and one-active-VPN limits.
