Your Ubisoft account signs into Ubisoft Connect, the Ubisoft Store, and online features in Ubisoft games. A password reset works the same whether you play on PC, console, or mobile.
Does this affect you?
Use this for Ubisoft accounts, including older Uplay accounts, when you forgot the password, cannot sign in, or hit a two-factor authentication problem.
Reset your password at account.ubisoft.com
Use a browser for the standard reset.
- Go to account.ubisoft.com and choose Sign in.
- Select Forgot your password.
- Enter the email address linked to the Ubisoft account.
- Open the reset email from Ubisoft.
- Use the link to create a new password that meets the on-screen requirements.
- Sign in at account.ubisoft.com, Ubisoft Connect, and your games with the new password.
Reset from inside Ubisoft Connect
This sends you to the same reset process.
- On the Ubisoft Connect sign-in screen, choose Trouble signing in or Forgot password.
- Enter the account email.
- Follow the reset-link steps in the browser page that opens.
- Return to Ubisoft Connect and sign in with the new password.

Check for delayed reset emails
Ubisoft emails may take a few minutes and can land in spam or promotions. Search for Ubisoft instead of scrolling.
Use the Ubisoft account email
If you signed up through PlayStation or Xbox, the Ubisoft email may differ from your console email. Try addresses you use for gaming accounts before contacting support.
Two-factor authentication may still block sign-in
If 2FA is enabled, you need the authenticator code or backup code after resetting. If both are gone, contact Ubisoft Support for manual verification.
