Roblox accounts are common takeover targets because Robux, rare items, and trades have value. If items disappeared, Robux were spent, or the avatar changed without permission, secure the login first and then document what is missing.
Does this affect you?
Use this for Roblox on PC, mobile, console, or web when Robux are missing, items were traded or sold, the username or avatar changed, or the password no longer works.
If you can still log in
Secure the account immediately, even before you finish checking what was taken.
- Sign in at roblox.com.
- Click the gear icon and open Settings > Security.
- Change the password to something long, unique, and not shared with friends.
- Review Sessions or login history and log out devices you do not recognize.
- Open My Transactions from the Robux or currency area and note unfamiliar spending, trades, or sales.
- Check Account Info and confirm the linked email still belongs to you. Change it back if an attacker replaced it.
If you are locked out
Use Roblox recovery and support instead of relying on messages from strangers.
- On the Roblox login page, choose Forgot Password or Username.
- Enter the username, email, or phone number on the account.
- If the recovery email still belongs to you, use the reset link Roblox sends.
- If the attacker changed the email, open Roblox Support and use the My Account Was Hacked recovery form.
- Provide ownership details such as original sign-up information, past passwords, purchase history, or billing receipts.
- List missing Robux or items in the same report. Roblox may be able to reverse some unauthorized activity if reported quickly, though it is not guaranteed.
More control
Turn on two-step verification
Settings > Security > Two-Step Verification adds an email or authenticator-code requirement. A guessed or stolen password alone will not be enough.
Use a Parent PIN for child accounts
A Parent PIN can lock account and privacy settings so a child, friend, or attacker with the password cannot change key settings without the PIN.
Do not share passwords for trading
Roblox trades do not require giving another person the account password. Sharing credentials with friends is a common way accounts get taken over.
Avoid free Robux scams
Sites and videos promising free Robux in exchange for login details are phishing. Robux should be purchased or redeemed only through Roblox’s official app, website, or authorized channels.
