Mirroring an iPhone to Fire TV depends on the Fire TV model. Some Fire TV smart TVs and Fire TV Cube models support AirPlay directly, while Fire TV Stick models generally do not.
If your Fire TV supports AirPlay, you can mirror from iPhone Control Center. If you have a Fire TV Stick, you will need a mirroring receiver app from the Fire TV Appstore.

Use this guide if you want to show photos, apps, Safari, or your whole iPhone screen on a Fire TV. It applies to AirPlay-capable Fire TV Edition, Omni, and Fire TV Cube models, plus Fire TV Stick workarounds.
Turn on AirPlay on Fire TV
Use this one-time setup on Fire TV models that include AirPlay.
- On the Fire TV, open Settings.
- Go to Display & Sounds, or look for AirPlay under the model’s supported menu.
- Select AirPlay and turn it On.
- Choose whether a passcode is required if that option appears.
- Make sure the iPhone and Fire TV are on the same Wi-Fi network.
If there is no AirPlay option on the Fire TV, the model probably does not support native AirPlay.
Mirror from iPhone Control Center
- Open Control Center on the iPhone. Swipe down from the top-right corner on Face ID models, or up from the bottom on older Home-button models.
- Tap Screen Mirroring.
- Select the Fire TV name from the list.
- Enter the passcode shown on the TV if prompted.
- Wait for the iPhone screen to appear on the TV.
To stop, open Control Center again, tap Screen Mirroring, and choose Stop Mirroring.
Use a receiver app on Fire TV Stick
Fire TV Stick models, including many 4K and 4K Max sticks, do not include built-in AirPlay. Install a receiver app such as AirScreen from the Fire TV Appstore, open it, and follow its setup screen.
After the receiver app is running, open iPhone Control Center > Screen Mirroring and choose the device name shown by that app. The app acts as the AirPlay receiver the stick does not have natively.
Fix missing devices or stutter
Confirm both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network, not one on a guest network and the other on the main network. If your router separates 2.4GHz and 5GHz into different network names, keep both devices on the same one while testing.
For a specific video, use the AirPlay button inside Photos, Safari, or supported streaming apps instead of mirroring the entire phone. Direct video AirPlay usually looks better and uses less battery. If mirroring stutters, pause heavy downloads or streams and move closer to the router.
