ITIL 4 Foundation is the entry point into the ITIL certification path, the globally recognized framework for IT service management adopted by organizations including NASA, the UK’s National Health Service, and Disney, and aligned with the ISO/IEC 20000 international standard. It gives professionals a genuine, structured understanding of how IT services should actually be planned, delivered, and improved — not a specific technical skill, but the operating framework that makes technical skill deliver real business value.
This course builds toward that same real foundation: what a “service” actually means in IT terms, the service value chain, the four dimensions of service management, key management practices (incident, problem, change, and service level management), and continual improvement. This grounds a company positioning itself as an ongoing IT solutions and support partner, not just a one-time seller, in a genuinely recognized professional framework. This course does not grant the official ITIL 4 Foundation credential itself, which requires passing a proctored exam — it uses ITIL’s real structure as a grounded foundation for genuine service management understanding.
