Microsoft Edge can show coupon suggestions, cashback offers, price comparisons, and shopping panels while you browse retail sites. If those popups feel intrusive or you do not want the browser analyzing shopping pages, turn off Edge Shopping.

Use this for Microsoft Edge on Windows or Mac. The Shopping feature is enabled by default in many regions and may appear as a toolbar icon, sidebar tool, or checkout popup.
Turn off Shopping in Edge settings
This is the main switch for coupon popups, price comparisons, and the shopping button.
- Open Edge.
- Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner and choose Settings.
- Select Privacy, search, and services in the left sidebar.
- Scroll to the Services section.
- Turn off Shopping in Microsoft Edge. In older Edge versions, the option may be named Show me coupons on shopping sites.
- Close and reopen Edge so the change fully applies.
Afterward, the shopping cart or tag icon should disappear from the toolbar, and checkout coupon popups should stop.
Remove just the sidebar shopping icon
Use this only when you want the feature hidden from the sidebar but do not mind Shopping remaining available.
- Right-click the vertical sidebar on the right edge of the Edge window.
- Choose Customize sidebar.
- Find Shopping in the list.
- Turn its toggle off.
- Close the customization panel.
This hides the icon. It does not necessarily stop Edge from offering shopping features on retail pages, so use the main settings switch if you want that behavior disabled too.
More control
Check price comparison and price drop options
Some Edge versions list price comparisons, price history, or price drop alerts as separate service toggles. Go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Services and turn off those related entries if they appear.
Remove products you tracked earlier
If you previously added items for price tracking, open the Shopping panel if it is still visible or check Edge favorites for a price tracking section, then remove saved items manually. Turning off Shopping may not erase products you added before.
Search settings if Microsoft renamed it
Microsoft changes Edge labels from time to time. If you cannot find the Shopping option, type shopping into the search box at the top of the Edge Settings page and open the matching result.
