Verizon Fios Router IP Address and Login (Step by Step)

Verizon Fios router login information

Verizon Fios routers use a local admin page for Wi-Fi, connected devices, and advanced settings. The address is usually 192.168.1.1, and the needed admin details are printed on the router label.

Does this affect you?

Use this for Verizon Fios Quantum Gateway and newer Fios routers, including G1100 and CR1000A models.

Find the IP address and log in

Use a device connected to the Fios Wi-Fi or Ethernet.

  1. Open http://192.168.1.1 in a browser.
  2. Check the router side or bottom label for admin username and password. Do not confuse these with Network name and Network key, which are for Wi-Fi.
  3. If the label shows no separate admin password, try username admin. Older routers may use the network key as the admin password, while newer models use a unique administrator password.
  4. If a technician or user changed the password and nobody knows it, a factory reset restores label defaults.
  5. After login, use My Network, router status, Wi-Fi settings, connected devices, and advanced menus as needed.

Use the My Fios app

The app handles many common settings.

  1. Install My Fios and sign in with your Verizon account.
  2. Open Internet or Network.
  3. View connected devices, change Wi-Fi name/password, set guest Wi-Fi, or restart the router.
  4. Use the web admin page for deeper settings such as port forwarding or DHCP.

More control

If the page times out, check the network

Make sure you are connected to the Fios router, not a neighbor network, old router, VPN route, or cellular data. Ethernet directly into the router is a good test.

Use Verizon account tools if the sticker is unreadable

The My Fios app or verizon.com may show current Wi-Fi name and password, though not always the separate admin password.

Try 192.168.0.1 on older installs

Most Fios routers use 192.168.1.1, but a few older setups may answer on 192.168.0.1.
