Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. You will handle inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong interpersonal abilities. Hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. NO AGENCIES Responsibilities: Respond to customer inquiries via phone and/or email in a timely and professional manner. Provide accurate information regarding products and services to assist customers effectively. Reviews and enters orders, processes quotes and sample requests. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues with empathy and efficiency. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions in our computerized system. Collaborate with team members to improve overall customer experience. Ability to interact with various departments such as accounting, production, procurement, shipping and sales. Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills. Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus. Strong math skills are essential. 2+ year’s experience in Customer Service, previous experience in an office environment is preferred. Strong customer support skills with a focus on sales techniques. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Proficient in using computers and various software applications for data entry and record keeping. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to stand, sit, use computers, read, write, type, use copy machines, file paperwork, use telephones, and utilize written and oral communication to interact with suppliers, co-workers and customers.
