Magnifier turns the iPhone camera into a digital magnifying glass for labels, menus, pill bottles, serial numbers, and other small text. It can zoom, brighten, freeze, filter, and save what you are looking at.
Magnifier is built into iPhone. Some advanced detection features require a Pro iPhone with LiDAR.

Open Magnifier and Add It to Control Center
- Open Settings > Control Center.
- Find Magnifier and tap the plus button.
- Open Control Center and tap the Magnifier icon whenever you need it.
- You can also enable Magnifier under Accessibility Shortcut and triple-click the side button or Home button to open it quickly.
Adjust Zoom, Light, and Filters
- Open Magnifier.
- Use the zoom slider or plus/minus buttons to enlarge the view.
- Tap the flashlight button when you need more light.
- Reveal more controls for brightness, contrast, and filters.
- Tap the shutter/freeze button to freeze the image.
- Pinch or zoom the frozen frame if needed.

Accessibility Shortcut
Enable Magnifier under Settings > Accessibility > Accessibility Shortcut so it can open from the Lock Screen with a triple-click.
Detection Mode
On Pro iPhones with LiDAR, Magnifier can detect people, doors, furniture, and related spatial details for low-vision users.
Save a Frozen Frame
After freezing a frame, use Share to save the image to Photos so you can inspect it again later.
