Epson printers can connect to Wi-Fi from the printer touchscreen or through the Epson Smart Panel app. The touchscreen is quick if you know the password; the app is helpful for guided setup, especially on printers with smaller screens or no screen.

Set up Wi-Fi from the touchscreen
Use this if your printer has a screen and you know the Wi-Fi password.
- Tap the Wi-Fi icon or open Settings on the printer home screen.
- Choose Network Settings or Wi-Fi Setup.
- Select Wi-Fi Setup Wizard.
- Choose your network name and enter the password.
- Wait for the solid Wi-Fi icon or connection confirmation.
- On the computer, download the full Epson driver and software package for the exact model.
- Run the installer and choose network connection so it finds the printer on Wi-Fi.
Set up Wi-Fi with Epson Smart Panel
This is useful from a phone and for models with limited controls.
- Install Epson Smart Panel from the App Store or Google Play.
- Power on the printer and open the app.
- Tap Add Printer or follow the setup prompt.
- Scan the QR code or select the printer from nearby devices if prompted.
- Choose the home Wi-Fi network and enter the password in the app.
- After connection, print, scan, and check ink from the app, and install desktop software for computers.
More control
EcoTank ink setup comes first
EcoTank models must be filled and complete initial ink charging before Wi-Fi setup proceeds. That process can take 5 to 10 minutes.
Network not listed
Move the printer closer to the router during setup. A weak signal can prevent the network from appearing.
Use 2.4GHz when needed
Most Epson printers use 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. If setup fails on a combined router, temporarily split the 2.4GHz and 5GHz names and join the 2.4GHz one.
